Stay Mad about Iraq.
Since last week I’ve had trouble staying pissed and, just as importantly, staying active. I’ve reminded myself daily by seeking out information that hasn’t been watered down by some lamesass news network combined with actually watching Hannity and Colmes (Sadomasochistic indeed) to remember who I’m fighting. After that I find myself soaking rags in gasoline and drinking copious amounts of malt liquor. If you’re also looking for somewhere to get pissed the Peace Museum in Garfield Park might be a good place to start.
They are hosting a new photo exhibition called “Occupation: \Oc`cu*pa”tion\, n.” by
Chicago/Beirut/Baghdad resident (DISCLAIMER: and my friend) Stephanie Sinclair
The images are stunning in craftsmanship and in their completely horrific subject matter.
I’m heading back down there this weekend to keep myself angry.

If you’re looking to get even more upset. Try taking photos inside the building. You’ll be stopped immediately by the cops there and told you have to get a permit to take photos inside the building you pay for. Tell them YOU DON’T NEED A PERMIT! you’re just an amatuer! I didn’t know this at the time so I backed down.
