The Chicago Metroblog is looking for some new contributors to make this place shine like a new penny.

What we need from you – A commitment to post at a bare minimum of once a week. 3 – 4 times a week would be best. 3 – 4 times an hour, and we might consider renaming the site to yourname.metblogs.com. But prolly not. All posts must be Chicago related – what the experience is like living here, what you love, what you hate, etc. Contributors are not limited to writers – if you have a great idea for an alternative contributor set-up, i.e. you are a local photoblogger or something of that sort, we would also love to have you.

What you get out of it – moderate fame and the admiration of at least 3 people. Maybe. As well as an invitation to our sporadic meetups and eventually free drinks at said meetups when we get that big, fat advertising check.
