Chicago’s Royalty: Gossip

Liesel and Matthew Pritzker settled the suit against their father last week for something in the neighborhood of $450 million. Not too shabby for a couple 20-somethings.

The Tribune covered the story ad nauseum because as Americans we firmly believe that everyone is entitled to the intimate details of every even nominally famous family

    I worked on a project closely with Liesel and her mother, and all I got was a lousy bouquet of flowers. Ok, so it was nice that they thought to give me anything, but come on–I am poor and they made my life nuts for a good 2 months, and they own the universe. I’m not bitter.
