I was FINALLY able to register for some of the fine offerings the Chicago Park District has, after about a year of putzing around and missing registration dates. The Lincoln Park Cultural Center has a 10 week pottery course that has so far been awesome. Unlimited clay and glaze usage, minimal interference by the instructor, and small class sizes. All for $30. Pretty good, considering last time i took a pottery class it set me back well over a hundo, and you had to buy all your own clay and supplies.

Registration is closed for the winter programs, but will probably open up again in February for the spring programs. Keep an eye out for registration dates, and register as early as possible. Classes fill up fast and space is limited.
