I love ordering in food for myself. My boyfriend is a chef, which (ironically) means that I eat most of my meals alone (damn you, hospitality industry!). Cooking for one is just too wasteful and, frankly, I am entirely too lazy. But after a while, you get sick of the same old and need to find something new.

On Sunday, I wanted sushi more than a little kid wants a bebe gun. I couldn’t will myself to drive all the way to Rise for a pickup, and was frightened to have it delivered (as delivery sushi is usually akin to eating old plastic). But I took a chance and called up Katachi in Lakeview. Inexpensive (but not dangerously so), with a low delivery minimum and delivery charge. The food arrived super fast, with a bonus California maki for ordering over $15. The dragon roll was awesome, with something nice and sweet in the tempura batter.
