WOW! Look at those mountains!

I am a 24 fanatic. I never miss an episode. I have been known to rearrange my social schedule to accomodate it. But, man, was I pissed last night.

I will keep it general for those of you who haven’t seen the episode and for those of you who don’t really care for the show. They are following a truck via satellite feed as it drives from central Illinois to Iowa. They lose the truck and have to explain why. Their super accurate reason?

They lost the satellite feed in the MOUNTAINOUS TERRAIN

Where exactly is this mountainous terrain in central Illinois? Everthing I have ever seen shows Illinois flat as a pancake, and Iowa isn’t any more buxom.

Am I missing something? Or were the writers just being exceptionally lazy?

    You didn’t hear? Blago had the Poconos moved here last year to help with tourism.

    Western Illinois on route 20 into Dubuque gets a little hilly, but hardly mountainous.
