The LA Metroblog‘s 5000 has a piece in the Up Our Sleeve traveling art exhibit, coming to Chicago this Friday for a showing at the Open End Gallery, 200 West Fulton #310. Up Our Sleeve gave 500 artists each a blank 12″ record sleeve and the show features the 500 one-of-a-kind sleeves. There’ll be music at the event by dublab.com Soundsystem.

And, vaguely relatedly, San Francisco MBer (and Metroblog co-head honcho) Jason Defillippo is selling an upright arcade Mortal Kombat 3 here in Chicago. If we didn’t already have a Galaga taking up space in the living room, I’d go for it.
