Give me something to do

Between work and home I haven’t had much Chicagocentric to post. BUT by this time next week I should be the proud owner of a new Canon 10D digital SLR.

So here’s the deal. I want a photo assignment a week. Give me a Chicago-related theme to shoot and I’ll do it.

Get the ball rolling! What’s the first topic?

    metra life .. union station, ogilvy, other city stations, conductors, engineers, trains, cool sights/landmarks next to metra tracks!

    Streetwise vendors. I’ve never once seen a series on them. Course, maybe I haven’t looked in the right places. And congrats on the new addition!

    careful with photographing streetwise vendors. i’m not drawing comparisons or parallels, but i once got physically attacked by a homeless person because he *thought* i was taking a picture of him (i was taking a picture *near* him). whereas streetwise vendors in general may be tons more mentally stable than that guy, some people still may take offense.
