Reason to love Chicago # whee!!!

Trapeze School – as beautifully described by Mark Henderson.

We watched as several students took their turns until finally the young girl got up. She was so tiny the other intructors had to lift her up to the trapeze and give her a push out. She swung back and forth a couple of times, building momentum, until she maneuvered herself upside down under her trapeze in the splits. Then, at the apex of her swing, she let go and was perfectly caught by the instructor on the swing. Was it the hardest move we’d seen people do? No. But the crowd around the fence gave her a roaring ovation.

They have a pretty impressive set-up near the lake. Mark and I have lived in the neighborhood and never known this existed. That kid was heartbreakingly adorable.
