What with guests in from out of town, we had a low-key meetup down at Skylark. Scott from Chicagoist showed up, too, I ate some pie, and we took advantage of Skylark’s photobooth.

    And here I was in Michigan being a good mom, taking my girls camping. When I *could* have been at my favorite bar with you people, just stumbling distance from my home! I hope you guys had a great time. It looks like you did!

    Thanks to Lauren and the Chicago Metbloggers for organizing the outing. We had a great time. We’re still wondering about the banners hanging over the bar at Skylark. Anybody know what they are and why they’re there?
