If you are a fan of mambo, salsa, son, or anything with that Buena Vista Social Club sabor, head on downtown for two great shows by one great band: Angel Melendez and the 911 Mambo Orquestra! The 911 Mambo Orquestra plays in two incarnations: both as a 9 piece group and as a full-blown 21 piece group.

The picture above is from their recent performance at the Pritzker Pavilion at Millennium Park. It was a hot show, and as you can see, even hotter dancing was afoot on the lawn!
