There is a little English person in Chicago.

I arrived late last night, and I must say O’Hare isnt entirely fascinating other than you have to go OUTSIDE to smoke??? so I didnt see much.
Found the CTA thingie this morning and got myself to Downtown, found a library, and now at a keyboard I feel a little at home.

Streets are huge,

a, its like crossing the motorway
b, Im looking in the wrong direction,
c, these people are shouting at each other and stuff….

its crazy…. anyway..

having calmed onself down somewhat and manage to cross several motorway ‘streets’ Im going to try to find The Shedd. wish me luck – and please dont run me over …

Pace yourself. Much to do and see here in Chicago.

Make sure to get out of downtown into neighborhoods.

Welcome to Chicago… I just got back from London, and I’m headed back in about a week. I won’t run you down, as long as you return the favor! :)

    Warning, little English person!!!! Warning!

Just because there is a crosswalk doesn’t mean cabs will stop!

Even it looks like one of those London crosswalks that everyone stops for in London, they won’t here.

/have to warn ever Londoner I know about this
