Even more on Chicago Radio

This morning, at around 9:40 or so, I was flipping through the radio stations. I know this is a mistake, but my beloved WBEZwas replaying the segment on the 180 evacuees from New Orleans.

When I landed on 99.9, with the oh-so-clever-name “the Nine”, I heard a song I hadn’t expected to hear for a while. The Scorpions, Rock you like a Hurricane. Now look, my sense of humor is seriously darker than the next guy’s (or gal’s) but, come on.

Just more proof that commercial radio sucks.

You could scan the dial for hours, it’s no use, Chicago radio is dead. Try 88.7, internet or satelite radio.

Yes, Chicago radio is so bad I could just cry. I even blogged about it.
