Maybe it’s because Kanye West doesn’t care about black people…
Chicago: 36.77% African American
Rosemont: 1.35% African American
Dekalb: 9.08% African American
Evanston: 22.5% African American

That MUST be it Ernie.

To answer my own question, I would speculate that it has something to do with the fact that Chicago has a dearth of appropriately-sized venues for a concert of this kind. Frankly, I can’t think of any venue within the city that could accomodate the show, without the necessity of a 2+ night stand.

Would have worked size-wise but there are conflicts with Bulls/Hawks games on the dates in question…maybe that’s the reason- the only decent-sized join in town is booked.

When do tickets for the “Chicago” venues go on sale? Did I miss the boat?

i went to both concerts in champaign and carbondale. champaign was a much better concert, i had front row seats for the carbondale show. the venue was very ghetto, people smoked weed, people were getting escorted out for fighting. i wish that kanye would reach out to fans a little more, between the two shows i spent over $200 bucks! and got no love

Fantasia was awesome…that girl has an abundance of energy and she gives a good show….not real familiar with keyshia cole, she sang on “college dropout”. i think she is from chicago.
