The Sky is Falling

Has anyone noticed that the rain falling from the sky right now has a whole lot of similarities to snow? Slightly opaque, albeit very small, snow. How the hell did we go from peeling our asses off the car seat because it was so frickin hot to snow-like rain in less than TWO DAYS?
