Smoking Ban- Maybe finally actually FOR REAL.
Not kidding this time. But maybe. Who really knowsat this point? The smoking ban is supposed to go to vote with the aldermen again tomorrow, although years of delays have made me highly apathetic to this. I don’t want to rehas the whole debate, so if you wanna get vocal about the whole thing, check out our previous coverage here, here, and here.
So now they’re talking about a compromise in which the ban would be phased in for bars and restaurants with bars over a three year period.
To a smoker such as myself, this sounds like a victory of sorts.
