33 & Indiana

On my way to another appointment, ’bout 3:40, I saw the smoke (and eventually the flames) of a giant fire. I was just south of the 31st street, on Lake Shore Drive. Anyone else see it? They Just mentioned it on NPR, and the traffic reporter mentioned “landmark building.” Anyone have more of a clue as to what is going on?

a historic church on the southside caught fire, apparently it was under construction. I work in the Sears Tower, and my office faces the southside, it was a pretty dramatic fire that was completely visible from up top. I hope no one was hurt.

A church that was built back in the 1890’s, was known to be the birthplace of gospel.
