Fall Out Weiner

Subtitled: allow me to lower the level of discourse around here a little.

I keep seeing articles about how Fall Out Boy are going to be the next big thing out of Chicago. If you call Wilmette Chicago. And I get as far in the article as the word “emo” and my eyes glaze over. And I throw up in my mouth little.

Well, it seems that Fall Out Boy’s bassist Pete Wentz has been emailing people pictures of his “next big thing”. If you know what I mean. And what I mean is that this upcoming link is completely unsafe for your work. Really. Unless you work in a pantsless guy factory.

Don’t say I didn’t warn you.

Emo. Ick.

God…the Morrissey poster? How much do you want to bet that that’s for “emo cred”?
I went to the same high school as Chevelle (Grayslake Community High School), and was there when they “hit it big.” They would come back to town, drive around in their hot new cars, and go to the local-ish Denny’s, and then snob-it-up. It’s like, Jesus H., man, so you have a record, big f-ing deal. Does coming back to your shitty little town to lord it over the 14 year olds at a diner make you feel like big men?
I don’t want our “next big thing” to be the Fall Out Fucks. At all.
And no, Wilmette, in my opinion, doesn’t count (just like, you know Grayslake doesn’t count, either).

PK, you’re killing me man! Fuckin hilarious as usual. Perhaps the tug on his udder was an attempt to give it some extra length? Ha hahaha!
