U of C – Crazy Smart.

The University of Chicago released a study showing that the human genome is still evolving, regardless of what other groups of people might want you to think. The study found that 700 regions of the genome have been steadily evolving over the past couple thousand years. Not mentioned in the study, how this evolution will eventually yield me a jetpack. Someone has to evolve to the point that they are intelligent enough to create a jetpack.

Digg has a whole series of comments on this article (300+) ranging from the hilarious to the idiotic.

If you are still not sold on the whole evolution thing, I have all the proof you need right here.
