War protest?

March for Immigrant Rights

That was my inital thought as I was driving down 90 / 94 this afternoon. But then I saw all of the flags of Mexico and Ireland. A quick search found that the March for Immigrant Rights was taking place this afternoon. Anyone else see it?

Yes, they have all of the streets around here blocked off. I’m at LaSalle and Van Buren. I was wondering what was going on.

Yes… it took me 40 minutes to get from LSD to 90/94 going down Roosevelt because of all the traffic and foot-traffic.

There will be a war protest on the 18th. There will be a feeder march at Oz Park in Licoln Park.

On the third anniversary of the invasion unite with the community to say end the war and bring the troops home.

They will gather at 12:00 noon in Oz Park on the corner of Lincoln and Webster.

After a short speak-out and open mic they will march at 12:30 to Union Park (Ashland and Lake) to converge with other community feeder marches at 3:00.
