Another Live-At-Home Loser: They’re Not All Matthew McConaughey
I recently wrote about the growing trend of losers that still live at home despite being otherwise-functioning adults- a trend that Hollywood has picked up on, most notably with the new flick “Failure to Launch,” starring (I use the term loosely) Matthew McConaughey’s run-amok teenage libido and the skeletonized corpse of Carrie Bradshaw.
It gets worse, much worse. Sometimes humor is just a shield from the horror…
Then, this morning I’m reading about the bust of a child sex ring in the Chicago area, and I come across this little tidbit, in regards to one of the alleged child molesters and pornographers, Brian Annoreno:
“Annoreno’s lawyer, Michael Falconer, said that he doesn’t believe the feds recovered a video showing Annoreno molesting a child and that he thinks those charges are based on accounts given by a witness.
Falconer said his client is a “computer whiz” but is an immature 29 “going on 12” and lives with his parents. He said Annoreno’s parents believe their son was used by someone else in the scheme.”
His lawyer goes on to say: “”If you saw him, he’s a skinny little kid; I bet he doesn’t weigh 100 pounds. It’s impossible that he’s a ringleader of anything.” Which, translated, means roughly: “Hey, all you cons in cellblock D, get ready for the new bitch in town. This punk is a fucking weakling and a child molester. Time for some rough justice.”
And isn’t it just like the parents to assert that, (I paraphrase) “No, our little Brian couldn’t do a thing like that! He must have been used by someone else. You know: someone with brains.”
This case is just so sick and twisted it defies belief. Even hardened criminals despise on child molesters.
Read the article, not for the shock or horror but because it is your civic duty to know what’s going on in your community.
That sicko is not just accused of molesting a child… he’s accused of ***performed oral sex on an infant***. An INFANT??!?! That’s *beyond* sick.
I think if he hits jail, he’s a dead man…
I know, I couldn’t even bring myself to type those words, but that is in fact what he is accused of.
Despite the number of times I have had to type those words, for my evaluations of my clients, it has not gotten any easier.
While Annoreno is held in lockup/jail. He’ll be relatively safe. Guards do have a tendency to “let slip” what people do in jail, but given the high publicity of this case, if anything happens to him BEFORE his trial, all hell would break loose.
I bet, however, he’ll spend minimum time in a facility and get some sort of conditional release. If found guilty, however, he’ll register as a sex offender for the rest of his life.
