Today is the Day

On my way to work this morning, I passed Union Park, and the TV news vans, flag vendors and yes, protesters, were already gathering as of about 7:30 AM.

We’ve been following this issue closely here at Metroblogging Chicago, from Lauren’s first, quizzical post about the earlier marches, to mutual pleas for attention and dialogue, including hateful and fearful commenters, to sheer awe at the size of the planned marches.

If you are marching today, please stop by and share your thoughts and comments below…and if you have pics you want to share, please do so!
