Lakeside-full-moon-drum-fire thing

We had a great time last night huddling under a blanket (what’s up with this weather, June?) at the lakeside full moon jam. There were hoopers and dancers and drummers (and two trombonists) and all sorts of folks. And, oh yeah, fire! Tons of fire dancers, some I know from SPUNN, but others as well. Fire! Fire! (Umm… I liked the fire.)

The next one will be next full moon, on the lake shore, just south of Foster Beach — SPUNN has a mailing list about the events.

If you can’t wait 29.5 days, I’m told that many of the same people are involved in Entheon Convergence – Cultural Re:Evolution — “An evening of visionary art exhibitions, live painting, performances, interactive art & visuals” to benefit their trip to Burning Man 2006.
