Touch and Go 25th Anniversary Show

Today is “out-of-towners remind me about cool things in Chicago” day, I guess. Tim Trentham from the Austin Metroblog is excited about the Scratch Acid reunion as part of the upcoming Touch and Go Records 25th Anniversary show. Tickets go on sale tomorrow at 10 AM.

The Touch and Go tix go on sale Friday, it’s a pretty big space so I wouldn’t expect a problem getting them. The lineup is looking pretty good over the three days especially with some of the old bands getting together for the weekend.

I almost peed my pants when I saw that Three Mile Pilot, Black Heart Procession, and Pinback are all on the lineup. I never forgave myself for being below the drinking age when I lived in San Diego during 3MP’s heyday…. so this is my chance to redeem myself. I can’t even wait. I am replanning a vacation around this show.

Rumor is Big black will be added. I’m psyched to see Scratch Acid though!
