Finally, just when you’re convinced the Dept of Transportation was created to make your life a living hell, they throw you a bone! I bring you the Illinois Traffic Alert System! Travel times by email, at specific times, designated by me, throughout the day?!?!? Sounds impossible, but it’s true! Choose a roadway!! Choose when you want to receive the alert!!! And it’s free!! It’s FREE!!!!

    That’s a neat idea, but they need to broaden the idea a little so that a driver can log on and get up to the minute drive times. I very rarely travel the same route every day at the same time.
