Theater by poll

You may have heard of the work of Komar and Melamid, conceptual artists who created the Most Wanted and Most Unwanted paintings and songs by combining elements based on polls. That is, people said in polls that they like landscapes, so the Most Wanted painting is a landscape. People also said they like historical figures, so George Washington is in there, and so forth.

The Neo-Futurists (they of the Too Much Light Makes the Baby Go Blind fame) are presenting a show in their next mainstage season called You Asked For It! that will be “assembled” by Neo-Futurist founder Greg Allen based on a survey that they’re asking people nationwide to take. So please help them create the perfect American theatrical piece by taking the survey.
