Blago Schmago

The Blago won’t debate Topinka and now there’s breaking news about a top fundraiser of his being indicted for some kickbacks. What’s this guy doing, trying to lose? Here at the fair and balanced Chicago Metblogs, we want to know!

I don’t think not debating Topinka is hurting him. Frankly, it’s a choice between the corrupt status quo or the batsh*t crazy. It’s enough to make me vote Green. Well, maybe not. Poor Rich Whitney, he always seems to me like the kid who always got picked last.

    *sigh*

Oh well, at least we have decent Senators.

I know that it’s smart for him to not debate, but I also know that if Bush refused to debate Kerry I would be quite pissed. Besides, it looks bad. What’s he afraid of? I don’t think Judy has a chance, but I’m just sayin’…come on! Pretend like you’re trying, Blago!

    Couldn’t help but notice the joke-filled posts…

Chicago metblogs being fair and balanced – Good one D Doom!

Decent Senators – Dick Turban; decent? In a ‘compare US troops to Nazi’s and Soviet Gulag running-thugs’ kinda way; yeah that Turban is a heck of a guy! Another zinger – atta boy Dave?.

This post is pointing out the possible corruption links to Blago and his cowardice in refusing to debate Topinka. I think that’s fair, and balanced. I am not a Democrat, so I am certainly not interested in promoting them or covering up their warts.

Dick Turban? Sounds like the insults and name-calling are all yours, Jojo.

    DDoom-

Sorry for the confusion. My fair and balanced comment wasn’t in regards to this post, but the political commentary from the site as a whole (namely yourself and Nikkos).

How is Turban an insult? Do you have something against people that wear turbans?

Why don’t you tell everyone why you called Durbin “Turban”? You meant it as a compliment, yes?
