the big stink

Did y’all hear it? Last night, oh, about 6:30-9? That was me, laying a big ole bomb in my first improv class at the Annoyance Theater. Though to be honest it could’ve been a lot worse. Especially when everyone else in the class has experience up the tush. But it was still a good time. The buzz is still there. So is the exhaustion. But it’s a good kind of exhaustion, like you left what you had out there on the floor. Now comes the challenge of ramping it up to match the others, who are all very talented and very funny. The Chicago comedy scene will not have any shortage of talent any time soon. I recommend improv classes to everyone, even if you don’t have any particular aspirations to be all that is improv. It’s just an overall cool time.
