Bears Win!
But, let’s be honest: We had no business winning tonight. How many turn overs? How long did we have possession? The Cardinals blew a 20 point lead; they shouldn’t have gotten the lead in the first place.
Are all wins considered equal? This game was supposed to have been a blow out. It almost was an upset. Come on Chicago, write up what you think about our Bears.
Never had a doubt! Look for the clip of the Cardinals coach getting mad after the game, I saw it on the news this morning, it’s a classic. Here’s the upside: this victory will serve the same purpose as a loss would have, it’s a wake-up, get yer shit together…but without the actual loss in the standings. Mr. Positive over here.
The name of any game is winning. They got the W, which is all that counts. On a night when the offense was indeed offensive, the defense stepped it up and made the plays. And after all that, they had to rely on a bad field goal attempt to win the game. Luck has its place, but talent prevailed.
I think this game strengthens the Bears credibility. They showed that they can win games even if their offense plays at a Little League level. 2 defensive touchdowns and a special teams TD prove that the Bears can beat you three different ways. It will be tough for a team to shut down the O, D and ST.
DA BEARS!
