Tetris Tournament
We almost didn’t go to the Tetris Tournament last Sunday at Parrot’s because we didn’t want to deal with the crowds and the competitiveness. Which, in retrospect, was kind of ridiculous because the “crowds” turned out to be eight of us, including the organizer, gathered around a NES plugged into a TV. And Erica got everyone in a great mood by cheering everyone on, whether she knew them or not. So it turned out to be a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon. Peter (the aforementioned organizer) promised to try and have another tournament in a month or so.
Hey! If there is room for one more, I’m your guy! Seriously. Can I come?
Tetris rocks. I’m in on the next one.
Oh man. You need to start up an email list. Or maybe you could post it in the comments here. Or maybe a meetup group would be nice. TETRIS!!! YES!
We all had to practically force Peter to take our email addresses, but I’ll definitely post when there’s going to be another tournament.
Where are these tournaments being held at? I would love to be at one. If anyone can let me know that’ll be great. Thanks James
The tournament was held at Parrot’s Bar and Grill (754 W Wellington, Chicago) and I’ll definitely post again as soon as another tournament is announced.
Thanks fuzzy!
