Update: So I’m watching the marathon coverage on tv and the lead guy is about to cross the finish line. However, some genius thought it would be a great idea to lay out a plastic marathon banner on the ground right in front of the finish line. So what happens? The lead guy pumps his arms in the air in victory, but slips on the plastic banner and falls on his back, hitting his head on the pavement. He won, but now he’s on his way to the hospital with a big ole bump on the back of his head. The question screaming out in my head is: Who puts a plastic banner on the street during a marathon when it’s raining out??!??!
