She Said That?
I’m no expert on politics. My view is that if you are honest and do a good job for me and my neighborhood, you’ll most likely get my vote the next time you run.
One thing that I do know is that sometimes it’s the little things that stick with you that make you vote for the other guy or gal when you get to the polling place.
From the Chicago Tribune, “Maybe he ought to run for manager of the Cubs,” she quipped in Bloomington. “They’re a bunch of losers, too, and need some help.” Um, I don’t think a statement like that is going to get you any votes Judy. It might actually cost you hundreds.
Both major party Governor candidates have said some very questionable things during this campaign. Northsiders might just have this last statement on their mind when Tuesday finally arrives.
