Delurk, Chicago
It’s National Delurking Week and I’d love know that you’re out there. Hello? Hello? Please leave a comment and share whatever you’d like, but I’d love to know
- Do you live in Chicago?
- If yes, what neighborhood?
- If no, where do you live? Are you from Chicago originally?

Hey, there–I live in Schaumburg, grew up in Glendale Heights, and love the city. I’m suburban with city-envy. Go Bears!
1. Yes, I live in Chicago.
2. I live in Edgewater.
3. N/A.
I admit to being a lurker…
Born and raised in Chicago. Currently I live in Ravenswood Manor (a block from the gov)and grew up in Budlong Woods.
hi. i live in logan square. moved here from los angeles in july and haven’t regretted it for a second.
Born and raised in Rogers Park and Skokie. Currently, living in Edgewater (so I didn’t go too far). I don’t think I am going too stray too far from here. I love this city.
Long time lurker–currently living in Lincoln, Nebraska, but raised in glorious Country Club Hills. Have lived in Nebraska for 20 years, but still miss Jay’s potato chips and Unbeatable Eatables’ (at 4031 175th Street, roughly 175th and Crawford) sandwiches (among many other things).
South suburbanite- grew up in Homewood mainly, now live in Chicago Heights… and Unbeatable Eatables is yummy indeed.
Yes; Rogers Park.
I found this blog today, from a link at Chicago Magazine. I grew up in Scottsdale (also know as St Bede’s) and currently reside in Ravenswood Manor.
Nope, I live in the suburbs :( I’m near woodfield mall. I’m originally from Omaha.
Nope, I don’t live in Chicago. I live downtown Detroit… it’s not quite the same.
I hope to move to Chicago in the first half of ’07, so I’ve been lurking on as many chicagoblogs as I can to get a handle on the place :)

I don’t live in Chicago. I have, in the past. I currently live in Dallas and am seriously considering moving back. I lived in Wheeling, Buffalo Grove, Streamwood, Woodridge, and then Lakeview for a year.
I’m doing what Richard is – reacclimating myself to the old hometown before moving back.
