Programming Change

The heads of programming at both WLUP-FM 97.9 and WKQX-FM 101.1 were cut loose from their duties Tuesday. Both stations are part of Ennis Communications who’ll insert “a single person in a new title and job–brand product manager–to oversee not just what’s on the air, but also promotions, marketing and online activity.”

I have not listened to either station in ages, except for occasionally scanning through the FM stations. I always wind up back at 88.7 WLUW. Do any of our readers listen to these stations? Are you happy with their programming or do you think they could do better?

Hmmm, this is what they get for cutting off Mancow.

It wasn’t giving Mancow the axe… it was green lighting that awful “Morning Fix”. *barf*

I don’t listen to either regularly, just hit the scan occasionally. I love LUW, but the signal craps out halfway through my commute. :(
