CTA vs World Subways

Faced with the "subway systems of the world, presented on the same scale," is your first impulse to make an animation so that you can compare the CTA to the size of each of the other 34? Well, it’s mine. Oops.

    Moscow and Seoul seem to have pretty extensive webs. Does anyone here have any firsthand experience with these cities’ public transit systems?

    I saw a picture of one of Moscow’s subway stations. Glitteringly beautiful. Even the new subway stations (jackson blue line, lake red line) look like shit in comparison. Seriously, chandeliers, bronze (I assume) fixtures, etc…

    Moscow placed in some top 10 list for subway systems. Chicago didn’t place.

    Wish I remembered where I saw it.
