Rock and roll summer camp
Rock and roll summer camp sounds cool enough that I kinda wish I was a kid again. And had any musical ability. Camp Jam (founded by Jeff Carlisi, former guitarist for, wait for it, 38 Special) comes to Chicago (well, Lake Forest) for three 5-day sessions starting June 25, July 9, and July 16. The lil’ rockers (age 11-17) are expected to have at least six months experience. There’s also Camp Jam Kidz (lookout, hardcore Z!) for 7-10 year-olds, who aren’t required to have any musical experience at all. The Camp Jam blog has a profile of the Chicago instructors.
