More Free Events!

Oh all the things we totally take for granted living in Chicago. I was invited to spend the evening at Welles Park this evening with pizza and classical music, but have dinner plans with my parents so I’ll have to pass this time.

Check out the schedule for Welles Park, and click around a bit for other Chicago Park District events. And best of all many or all are FREE!

I’ll be back for a couple of members from Smoking Popes, Josh & Eli Caterer on August 21, and the Hoyle Brothers the week after that. Hopefully I can make at least one other night before then.

Classical music and pizza is definitely an interesting combination. lol…I would think classical and a glass of wine but pizza and any type of music could work for me! lol..For other free events in the Chicago area, check out the Yaris vs Yaris competition going down at the Alhambra Palace Restaurant tonight June 28th, from 7-11 PM. There will be performances by Dice Raw of the Roots and Truck North. Celeb judges will be Bradley Carbone. Eddie Cruz, DJ Clark Kent and Kenzo of Nike. Check out the site http://www.yarisversusyaris.com for more info an details. Will you be there for one of the hottest free summer events in the Chicago area?
