Jesus Guevara, what?

I must say that the connection New Life Community Church is trying to make between Jesus Christ and Che Guevara is beyond me.

    I think they are just trying to look “cool” and point out that Jesus was a “revolutionary”… or something like that. I suspect they aren’t intimately familiar with Che’s extreme Marxist ideology. :)

    I know they’re just trying to be cool and hip and all that, but I still think it’s kind of strange.

    It’s just barely possible that they’ll going to be studying Liberation Theology — the Sermon on the Mount is some pretty radical stuff.
