Sky Deck: Chicago’s Best View?

Skyline

Flipping through my in-flight magazine, the one entry on our fair city is a quick blurb about how the Sears Tower Skydeck has the best view in the city. One should not expect a lot from these ad-laden, tourist targeted magazines, but this is just supremely lazy. The average Chicagoan probably has at least one view that they prefer to the Skydeck. Show us what you got–what’s your favorite view of Chicago?

I’m partial to the view from my rooftop deck (not technically public, but hey, come over and have a beer, it’s a community deck!):

I’d have to say the best view is out by the Planetarium. If you look back at the city as the sun sets it’s truly breathtaking…

95th floor of the Hancock Centre. Awesome.

View from the women’s room of the Signature Room in the Hancock Centre. Sounds crazy, but the view is spectacular … and I understand that the men’s room doesn’t even have a window (very sad).
