Passport Headache

Have you had to get a new passport in the last year? Pretty simple huh? Fill out the forms, get your passport photos together along with your birth certificate, send it in and two to three months later there’s your passport.

Not so fast! I applied the first week in June and now find out that everything I brought in is probably lost for good. Now in order to travel in October I need to re-apply and re-pay and add in an extra 60 bucks for expedited service!

I’m still pretty sure the U.S. is the best place to live in the world, but our government agencies really do suck most of the time I ever need anything.

Evry gov org are a bit lousy, but in thepassport matter I think India is better thn US, it jus takes abt 25-35 days and mostly not much issue of lost applications too. Also we have a facility called ‘tatkaal’ though which if u really need a passport urgently then u can get it in abt 3-10 days (ofcourse it will cost you a bit more)
