The Soung of Young America

The Sound of Young America

Jesse Thorn’s The Sound of Young America — “a public radio show about things that are awesome” — will tape a show tonight on the Second City e.t.c stage (1608 N Wells) at 8 pm. Admission to the taping is free.

The show will feature an in-depth interview with Steve Albini (maybe they will talk poker?) and comedy from Hannibal
Buress (newly crowned the Funniest Person in Chicago), Schadenfreude, Team Submarine and the Second City themselves.

If you’d like to see the tables turned on “America’s Radio Sweetheart”, there’s a two part interview OF Thorn on The Merlin Show: Part 1, Part 2.
