Rod… what the hell?

See, even old people think Rod Blagojevich is crazy.

This is classic political posturing. I’d hoped when I posted my last entry that we were on the verge of a solution. Hell, I even postulated that there might be a reckoning for the bastards who put us in this mess. But no, instead of doing anything to improve the system we’re getting free rides for the elderly. It will mean higher sales taxes and perhaps even higher CTA fares for everyone else.

Boy oh boy, I wish my bike wasn’t stolen.

Seriously, it’s beyond the pale. Where is the research on this? That it’s needed, that it can be effectively implemented, that it won’t have unintended consequences (you know, for example, draining money from an already cashed-strapped organization), etc.

I did not think politicians could shock me at this point. I was VERY wrong. I keep thinking, this can’t be real! He isn’t really trying this! and then I see him putting on a fake accent at that church and yep, it’s real.

Yea, that church accent was crreeeeeeeeeeeepy!

Hillary does the same thing. It’s a shame because I like Hillary on paper, but then every time I see her talk I think she’s as disingenuous as my arch-nemesis Mr. W.

Hey this is the change everyone of you that voted for Democrats to be in charge. Thanks for the vote I would not know what else to do with the little bit of money I earn but to give it for tax increases and watch a bunch of political morons in the same political group fight among each other and not get a thing done. Hope the rest of the country is paying attention to this so this can not happen on the national front.

Yeah, this is a Democratic thing, not a stereotypically politician thing.

I don’t buy it. If anything the prime example of scaring people into drafting a necessary bill with a bunch of other sneaky bullshit tagged onto it is the Patriot Act, a Republican led and mutually passed debacle.
