Found this on the Drudge Report: WGN Weather Center Blog – So far, June’s chill is one for the records.

With 33 comments many are saying things like: cooling cycle – Gore may be wrong – still waitng for spring! – the lunacy of Al Gore’s global warming movement.- I don’t believe in global warming – Glaciers advance despite Global Warming – I think this Global Warming stuff is a bunch of bull.- etc., etc., etc.

Nelson Taruc (Weather Center Blog) thanks all for their comments, but then goes on to let them know that the weather blog is not the place for a discussion on Global Warming.

OK, maybe I’m being a bit histrionic when I say that we’re still getting punched in the face — at this point it’s just a little shoulder jab, over and over. But I still think Amanda’s theory about why we’re collectively so enthusiastic when it does finally gets warm is valid. Personally, I think my fed-up-with-the-chilliness this year is because I made the mistake of taking trips to Arizona and the Southeast in May. It’s *warm* in May in other parts of the country. Dammit — if I hadn’t known there was free candy, I wouldn’t be upset I wasn’t getting any (to switch up metaphors).
