Can’t you buy little tiles with the skyline painted on them at just about any souveneir shop?  Apparently Mayor Daley was running low on time and just sent one of his aides out before he presented the visiting president of Mexico with “a small tile inside of a wooden box with the city’s skyline painted on it” [ sun-times article ].  Last time Mexico’s head honcho was in town, he received a hand painted depiction of Chicago and Mexico side by side, specially made by a Block 37 student. 

Compared to that, a piece of tile really sucks.
