I spent the day moving and cleaning. The apartment we are moving to is next door and the painters left the bathroom a mess (they always do). So I cleaned it up before my roommate returned. The janitor was not available today. I took breaks to check email and get lunch at Taco bell. The weather is great for walking, with the lake breeze.
Evanston’s fireworks were last night, but somebody did their own at 1am and woke us up. I am glad the 4th is over with. Downtown Evanston is nice and always has been. I can recall when the Marshall Field’s store was here and the Kresge store. Also, there used to be a Walgreen’s and a Dominick’s.
