It still feels like the dog days of summer, even if I have yet to see a lot of heat and humidity…I cannot complain about the weather at all. Some people at work at taking a month’s vacation and there are others taking time off. The back-to-school sales are on and I am buying nothing this year. I have a ton of small notebooks and cannot store any more. Business is slow everywhere…downtown Evanston has a Kaehler’s luggage store closing 8/31 and it may be worth checking out. Other places somehow stay open but there are no customers.
