Vote or Die

I almost keeled over and died when I read this headline in the Sun Times this morning:
Keyes likens abortion to terrorism
And it later says that “he said that the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks were a “warning” from God to “wake up” and stop “the evil” of abortion.”
How I feel about abortion is irrelevant. How anyone feels about abortion is irrelevant. Likening a catastrophe like September 11th to a political hot button like abortion is just absolutely heinous and below the belt. Keyes make me want to barf. I have heard a lot of discussion about voting in November, and how it isn’t really that important to vote in Illinois because we will go Democrat. But the presidency isn’t the only item on the ballot.

Ok, if Keyes even gets 1 percent of the vote, then I’m moving to Wisconsin.

The one positive I can see with this is that Bush has made these people more comfortable being open with their wackoness.
