Levinhurst, featuring former Cure member Lol Tolhurst, will be appearing at Subterranean Thursday night. It should be interesting to see what he’s been doing since he was fired from the Cure in 1990. Personally, I haven’t been impressed with anything released by the Cure since Disintegration. Could that be Lol’s presence I missed?

Regardless, I’m actually going to see the opening band, Walter Meego. They’ve been one of my favorite bands since they appeared on the scene in January. They can’t be defined – a guitar, turntables and a computer make them an odd mix of haunting moody rock and electronica that actually works.
