The Blues Brothers are extinct?

So my family, in an effort to make sure we get exactly what we want for our respective birthdays, sends out a wish-list of desired booty to each other. This year my little brother had a few requests for a few books, some cash and a few DVDs. One of those few DVDs was The Blues Brothers. I decided this film would be a perfect gift coming from me since I tend to demolish lots of cars and get into high speed chases with the Cook County constabulary while making out with young ladies I have left at the altar

It is crazy how companies can plan to pull a DVD in order to make way for the more expensive Anniversary Edition.

Unless John provides a commentary track? He never did any comentarys. Plus I hear this is going to be even better then the Collectors Edition DVD, with added scenes in the movie and cool bonus Features.

    beacky278, “He never did any comentarys.” — I think that’s Tankboy’s point.

Tankboy, good guess back in October — the 25th Aniversary Edition, a 2 disc set with the original Theatrical Release and an Extended Version with 15 extra minutes will be released on 8/30/05. Not tooo pricey, though — MSRP of $22.95.
