Chicago cold is a different kind of cold. Aaron Freeman has talked about it on WBEZ a couple of times. Anyway, today was one of those types of cold. It makes you wonder why you want to live in Chicago.

So I spent most of the day thinking about Chicago’s redeeming qualities. Specifically, Chicago in the summertime.

Outdoor festivals, summer concert season, beer garden’s, being able to sit on my balcony without freezing. This is what I keep thinking about. I wanna know what other people are dreaming about in the middle of January.
